Pendleton speaks after winning Sprint Gold.

I have to admit I have been thinking that the Great age of British Track sprinting may be coming to a close, both Hoy and Pendleton having difficulties as a new generation emerges.  Today Victoria Pendleton equalled the feats of Russians Galina Ermolaeva and Galina Zareva as the most successful individual female sprinter in the sport's history.
